This action-packed, full day incursion is full of water based activities that promise an unforgettable experience and an opportunity to practice interpersonal skills and resilience.
From the thrilling 'River challenge' sponge throwing game to the STEM task of building shelters to withstand a water storm from students with super soakers, this program is all about fun and problem solving. Not only will they have a blast, but they will also develop essential interpersonal skills.
Best of all this takes place in your own school grounds, creating a memorable day for everyone.
This program is perfect for those hot end of year months as students are guaranteed to get wet!

Learning activities
Session 1: River challenge
Students will work in small groups to complete a series of teamwork challenges.These challenges culminate with a playful sponge throwing event, team against team across a ‘river’ marked on the ground. Each of these activities is designed to assist students to understand and develop leadership qualities, teamwork and resilience.
Session 2: Shelter building
Working in small teams, students will construct a shelter using tarps, ropes, pegs and poles. Students must work together to design and build their shelter using the skills of the whole group. The shelter will then be tested to see if they can withstand a weather storm as members of opposing teams unleash their super soakers on each other.
Session 3: Water games
A series of water based camp games will test student’s interpersonal skills as they communicate and problem solve within their team. These games are a great opportunity to practice personal resilience and their ability to work well as part of a team while trying to not get too wet!
