The Engaging Students Outdoors is a teacher professional learning program that aims to increases student engagement by utilising the school grounds.
This free course provides teachers with an overview of current research into the benefits for students of outdoor learning and practical techniques of how to implement outdoor lessons linked to the curriculum. The program includes practical activities, using the school grounds, that encourage teachers to engage their students in the school grounds.
The course is delivered as:

2. One 2 hour session as part of a Staff Development Day
Standards: Engaging Students Outdoors will contribute 2 hours of TIPL addressing 2.1.2, 4.2.2, 6.2.2, 6.3.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
