Inquiry questions

How can I manage transitions and challenges?

How do empathy, inclusion and respect have an impact on myself and others?

Session 1: River Challenge

Students will work in small groups to complete a series of teamwork challenges. These challenges culminate with a playful sponge throwing event, team against team across a ‘river’ marked on the ground.  Each of these activities is designed to assist students to understand and develop leadership qualities, teamwork and resilience.

Session 2: Shelter Building

Working in small teams, students will construct a shelter using tarps, ropes, pegs and poles. Students must work together to design and build their shelter using the skills of the whole group. The shelter will then be tested to see if they can withstand a weather storm as members of opposing teams unleash their super soakers on each other.
