The Aboriginal Cultural Immersion: Twilight is a whole of school professional learning program that enables teachers and other members of the school staff to enhance their knowledge of local Aboriginal land practices and culture with regards to the Aboriginal Education Policy and to integrate this into their school culture.
The two hour session, held at Bobbin Head, is available during Terms 1 and 4.
Standards:
Aboriginal Cultural Immersion will contribute 2 hours of Elective PD addressing 2.4.2, 6.2.2, 7.2.2, 7.4.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
