The Christmas Nature Play incursion will get your students outside to learn and play in the natural spaces within their school.
Students will get creative and active using natural resources whilst connecting to the natural world and learning about their local school environment.
Students will read to the story “Stick Man” by Julia Donaldson and discover connections they have to the author, the topic and their natural environment.
Students make their own stick man using natural resources. These stick men will then join us for a series of challenges and activities as we undertake a Stick Man inspired nature trail around the school to try and find their ‘family tree’.
For the final activity students will make their own Christmas ornament using clay and natural resources from the school grounds.
