The Teacher Wellbeing professional learning program provides an opportunity for teachers to rejuvenate and recharge for 2 hours within the natural environment at Bobbin Head.
The program includes practical learning about techniques to improve recovery after stress which include breathing, grounding and forest bathing.
Teachers are encouraged to continue to use these techniques for their personal wellbeing and with students in their class.
The course is delivered as a one 2 hour twilight session at Bobbin Head during terms 1 and 4 each year.
Standards:
Teacher Wellbeing PL will contribute 2 hours of Elective PD addressing 6.2.2 7.4.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
